wow...i'm exausted...

i don't really know why. i didn't do shit today. whatever. hey! only three more weeks of my hellish job...wheee!!!

lets go over everythign i've learned this summer...
1. Chloroform can dissolve ammonium salts
2. Chemists have huge egos
3. Dimethyl Sulfide smells worse than anything, but you get used to it really quick
4. San Diego would be hella fun with friends
5. I don't want to graduate...well actually...i don't want everyone to leave irvine
6. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder
7. AIM is GREAT!
8. I can't have a job that is M-F 8-5 (i'll go crazy)
9. I have no clue where i'm going in the future
10. blah blah blah

anyways, like i said i'm almost done with my internship. i'm excited cuz i'm gonna go up to norcal for a few days then it is off to reno! yay! i can't believe that i haven't been to reno since new year's (well...except for the one 12 hour trip...but that doesn't count). i'm way excited. i'm gonna go to virginia city and hang out with the reno crew...YAY! renoites: i'll be up around the 17th or 18th til the 22nd. i can't wait!!!

i had the most interesting conversation with this lady at the albertos in Pacific Beach (which by the way is the best mexican food ever). she was this lady that looked kinda homeless...not fully homeless, just a little bit. we chatted for a bit and then it came up that i was from reno. well she knows all about reno. we got to talking about reno and then the area around...the bucket of blood saloon came up! hahaha she said she was a doctor and that she had half the stake in a new hotel/casino going up in incline...hmmm...interesting stuff...

yeah - so the albertos in PB is the best ever. just thought i'd restate that

sounds like angela is doing well in law school. oooh thats kinda scary sounding. "law school" sounds so meanacing. good luck to shaya (and my sister) in NYU. Reminder to self...call the family...blythe leaves for college in 2 days. i'm so excited for her!!! its hella weird tho. i can't believe that she's all grown up. hopefully my mom will be able to handle the empty nest...she hides it well

oooh i've been doing research for my new piercing. the place i went to was a big NO! It was a tatoo/piercing place. I went in and asked if they had ever done a nape piercing (back of the neck). the guy said "what?" i explained it to him. he said in a shocked tone "you want to pierce the back of your neck???" he directs me to the piercer (he was the tatoo guy). i ask her and she says sure i'd do it (but i can tell she's never done one before) then i ask her what type of jewlery she would use...wrong again! jeez! and it would be way more expensive than i'd ever pay. i'm learning from those car insurance commercials and shopping around haha
