thanksgiving will forever be called the weekend of excess...lots of eating, drinking...all together good times. this thanksgiving weekend is exactly the same. my first thanksgiving without the parents was quite successful...dinner was pretty freaking fun with shannon's dry turkey, andy's pie that wouldn't set and my challah that wasn't quite right...but good times were still had.
the first night of Chanukah was also great! bar hopping through HB was excellent. it made me remember why i hate SoCal. i really like being the DD and bar hopping. people watching is so fun! especially drunk people watching. shannon and i need to hang out more and go drinking...
i'm not sure what exactly i'm doing for winter break...i applied to go on a trip to isreal, but i haven't heard from them yet. i'd really like to go, but if i do go, then i don't get to go home for winter break at all. we'll see..
