okay, so where was i?
oh yeah, so we finally make it to colorado. it is excellent staying at over 10000 ft elevation. it was cold and crisp and clear. well, my roomate and i get off the bus and drag all of our stuff into the lodge/hotel/condo thing that we're staying at. then we started looking for our other 2 roomates. turns out they were on the other bus, which was late, and only they could get the key for some reason. well, finally we met up with them and got into our spacious, glorious,STUDIO!!! four guys in a studio! now i'm not one to complain. it honestly was enough room, and for what we were paying, totally worth it, but of course these stupid socal brats can't deal with it, so they get a whole group together to complain. what the hell do you think they're gonna do? switch you to a bigger room? come on, the whole place is already packed with other UC students...get a fucking grip kiddies...but i digress. so after we got settled, we head out on the town with my roomates and the girl (Kristine, she's stephanie lo's roomate) who i sat next to on the bus and her roomates/friends. we go walking around and lo and behold, everyone realizes that it is cold in colorado. and not just cold, but fucking really cold. i was prepared, and gave my hat and jacket up to someone. anyways, we head to an italian restaraunt where i got some bomb ass pizza and i also gauged the drinking capacity of my crew...one word...BEGINNERS...starting with the waitress saying that she only needed one ID, so Megan gives her OBVIOUSLY fake ID which says she is like 30...and then essentially telling the whole restaraunt that she is 18. Then i order a second pitcher figuring that at a table for 8, it would easily get drunk. well the only thing that did get drunk was me, because the other 3 people that were drinking each had one beer. well, so i wasn't that drunk, but it felt a bit worse than it probably was since i was surrounded by soberness. so afterwards, the under 21yearolds left for the condo, and the three of us old folk head out to chill with the locals. so we go to this bar/restaraunt and sit with these two girls and this one guy. they were hella cool hippie-esque folks, so i got along quite well with em. now one of the 21 yearolds decides that it is time to drink and we share a pitcher of newcastle. so by the time we finish there, i doing nicely. definately not drunk, but quite smiley. But my newly found drinking buddy is pretty much trashed! "one beer carreer" is how he decided to describe it. he had major, major asian glow going on and it was wicked funny watching him walk through the icy streets of breckenridge.
okay, so i'm tired again, time for sleep, but more updates and more often...i promise!!!
