well, this blog is going to be about the past. i never seem to be able to blog about recent events. things happen to me and i want to blog about them, but i never do until 2 weeks later...

First, the bad religion show. By far, the best punk show i've seen...probably ever. Everything about the night was perfect. We arrived just in time to miss the opening bands. It was perfect. We walked in, got to the pit and the curtains opened. It was hoTT. Bad Religion was everything i want in a concert. Live music that sounds better than on CD, tons of fans and great energy. I wish the place had been a bit bigger (maybe the size of the glass house), but it was just fine. I think everyone would have been more comfortable and there would have been more space for a pit. Yes, i did get a contact lens poked out of my eye, yes, i did get a bloody nose (during "Kyoto Now!" - which is HOTTTTTTT), yes i still have a bruise on my arm (more than a week later - it was pretty big at first)...god it was great.
