the fires are hitting a bit too close to the heart for me. talking to meera about the fires really made me remember when they came close to the house a few years back. scary stuff. really that is one of my few *big fears*. if a fire gets close to my neighborhood, it is over - no house, no stuff, no nothing. I'm glad that blythe and i are out of the house and the dogs are gone. The parents now just have to worry about their own stuff should that event ever come.
