::groan::

how am i spending my state sanctioned day off? recovering from a killer hangover. Fall Sick Out '03 was great. Silman and i arrived at Pacific Beach at around 12:30 and we skated to Cane's in Mission Beach. Started drinking and didn't stop until around the time I passed out...who knows when that was. After PB we drove to the Gaslamp and walked around downtown for a while. Went to the hustler store and urban outfitters (bleagh, but they had an old ReadyMade Magazine for 2 bucks!) then headed for more drinking. The bar we went to was very weird. The whole bar was red, red seats, red bar, red everywhere. Nearly everyone inside seemed to be blue collar workers and since we got there at around 5ish so it seems like everyone had just gotten off work and went there. Drank some more and then went to the outdoor mall. Walked back to the car, had two more drinks then drove up (traffic was gone by this point). Stopped part way up for some Hung out with dustin, jew crew and mikey's sister then headed to his birthday party. Drank some more...by this point i was good and wasted. Don't really remember much at the party - lotsa good conversations. Went home and proceded to not smoke and just passed out (my contacts are still in now!)

It was lots of fun chillin with Sildawg and being drunk, ya know, for a whole day.

I think the SickOut will become an official quarterly event by the 1332 crew.

it is sad that i didn't get to come up to the bay area. seeing rob and shannon would have been great. another time you two...another time :)

CSET was fucking hard. 5 hours would not have been enough time, but (un?)lucky for me i didn't really know most of the material on the 3rd test, so alot of guessing was involved. that made me able to finish the final exam with no problems. I definately passed the Chem Exam. It was hard, but doable - had everything i ever learned, and some stuff i didn't (Nuclear Chemistry). The Bio exam was tough because i never learned alot of the material, but i knew enough to get by. I should have passed that test. Just the physical science (physics, geology, earth system science etc) was tough. The physics was the easiest part (because i had actually learned it) everything else...well...i'm crossing my fingers. If i dont' pass that is fine, but it will suck having to take it again - and i'll probably have to *groan* study...

Got one more test - the GRE - and then i'm done. Well, almost, still have to do the personal statement (about 50% done) and get my letters of rec and figure out some financial stuff...okay...so i'm not really done, but i better get working on it - everything is due in a month.
