looks like it is shaping up to be a shitty week. but hey, i haven't drooled on myself today, so i guess that is good.

but on a lighter note - Vegas was great. really great. i'm kinda sad ben didn't get to make it, but you know...whatever. the tuscon crew is always good times. I wish i could have spent more time with jamie & ford, but you know, in vegas you can't plan too much.

Pai Gao Poker - great game. you always push. not so good for making money, but great for drinking. especially when the drink waitress says "hun - i'm gonna get you fucked up tonight"

sliding along the rain slickened walkways a la UCI flagpoles - great drunk games, excellent way to meet new people and to draw a crowd.

in other news - gavin newsome is my hero.

so the weekend was good, although monetarily i probably shouldn't have gone. stupid financial planning. really it wouldn't be so bad, but i've had alot of big expenses in the past few weeks - fixing car brakes, new apartment rent + deposit, possible extra rent payment on the old place, and today's debacle at the dentist.

today was the first time i've been to the dentist in 4 years. so i was expecting some pretty bad news. already i knew i needed my wisdom teeth out - so that was no suprise. what was a suprise was that i only have 2 cavities! pretty sweet. my dental insurance covers most of that so that is no problem. but it turns out that one of my old fillings cracked and much of the tooth below had major decay. it was so bad that it couldn't be refilled. instead i needed a crown. fuck. my insurance only covers 50% of this shit, so now my bill pops up ALOT. I'm not gonna say how much, but i'm hella glad they're letting me pay the bill in 2 parts - otherwise i'd be...um...how you say...a yes...FUCKED. So i guess it is good that i'm getting this shit taken care of, but this pretty much means i can't pay for my car insurance in the near future - maybe this is a sign to get rid of the beast???

really i can't wait for this week (or maybe month?) to be over. sigh.
