holy craptacular darkroom session. three hours of...well...crap! i got MAYBE (and this is a BIG maybe) 3 prints done. sheeeit. that is crappy. the darkroom i worked in back in socal was this crappy highschool one that was quite dischevled (sp), but i knew how it worked and what to do. here everything is new and ultra modern. HELLO INTIMIDATION. not to mention that my camera seems to have a light leak, ruining about a quarter of my negs (more, actually, but i'm able to work around the foggy spots). fuck fuck fuck. frustrating. anyways, i'll try to get them scanned in and post em up here. but shit...3 (really 2) photos in 3 hours!?!?! amature photographer? hardly. beginning photographer? maybe on a good day. crappy photographer - mos def.

anyways.

i miss home more and more. although i'm not sure when i might return (there are a few things that would keep me here for significantly longer - just like before i left socal), i'm viewing things in the light at the end of the tunnel sort of way now - but really that could just be the darkness. only a month until the shortest day of the year!

i've been devouring books lately. i'll post a list later.
