Salton Sea:

2-2.5 stars - dissapointing. not entirely terrible, but certianly not the cinematic powerhouse it had the potential to be. literally from the first line i felt that val kilmer was being forced to say his lines (possibly on purpose? as the story played itself out it could be...) also it was a bit formulaicm, similar to many movies in the thriller genre. i think i was just hoping for a lot more tweaker madness than a tragic love story (which, i guess is the story of all tweakers, but they usually love the smack, not the girl).

Dr. Strangelove (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb):

4 starts - BRILLIANT! Love it. Hilarious, sad, mentally stimulating, wonderful story, better acting...blah blah, just go see it. it is amazing
