the best thing happened to the weather last night. i was walking in the typical edinburgh rain across north bridge when suddenly (i'm talking like *that*) it was snowing. and we're not talking lame dinky snow here, this is some serious flake action, snow lumps the size of your thumbnail and bigger going in every direction due to the edinburgh wind. it was made especially cool because north bridge goes over waverly station causing this cool wind tunnel effect, making the snow fall up around the bridge in huge circles. GRRRREAT!

monday is also my weekly football night, and we were greeted by an iced over field, which after 20 minutes of playing was changed to a good half inch of snow. it was great, good and physical, but still good natured fun. my soccer skills are coming back finally now that there is a semi-constant game. gotta turn it up to twice a week now.
