so i'm quitting my job as i'm going travelling on friday and to make the last 3 days much more fun i've started an hour by hour countdown starting at 24. i was down to 10 today when my boss told everyone to scram early. now i'm down to 8 hours - hooray!

the (tentative) schedule:

edinburgh - birmingham
birmingham - london
london - budapest
budapest - zagreb
zagreb - sarajavo
sarajavo - mostar
dubrovnik - up the croatian coast
bus/train/ferry - florence
florence - glasgow
glasgow - edinburgh

this is anything but set in stone, but i have free housing in budapest, so i'm set for there and i think i should be able to make my money last for about 3 weeks without living too skint a lifestyle, but i'm gonna try to erk out 4 weeks, so it might be tough (ooooh, terrible runon sentance)

the blog may get a bit dusty while i'm away, so please comment on the chatterbox while i'm gone to keep the place alive...
