Holy EKG Batman!

so i woke up this morning with a bit of a problem with my breathing, mostly that i wasn't able to. okay, that isn't exactly true, it is more asthma type symptoms where i could fill my lungs up with *some* air, but certianly not a full breath. stupidly i left the inhaler that was perscribed to me for this sort of thing (thinking "well, the thing is nearly 2 years old and i haven't used it since") and had to suffer a bit, hoping it would go away.

**CUT TO A FEW HOURS LATER**

Okay, still can't breathe, lets go to the hospital. This was an experience and a half. Just trying to find the right building to go to took a good hour. Eventually i made it and it took another 30 minutes to find someone who could translate english well enough to direct me to the right room. Fortunately some dude was being treated spoke some english so between him and me i was able to get everything explained to the doctor. The english-speaker left and i was promptly ordered to "put off my clothes" by my cute-ish for 45 lady doctor and was told to lay down. enter scary short balding coke bottle circular black rim glasses wearing cartoonish looking doctor comes in and swabs my ankles, wrists and chest. he takes these cartoonish looking jumpercables and hookes em to my ankles and wrists. my chest gets for suction cup thingies. an EKG!? no fuck!?!

long story short, they think it is the change in weather (high was about 12 yesterday!) and the pollution in the air. at least, that is what i think she said...

the real problem that i am having is that they said i'm healthy. this cost me a good chunk of change and has forced me to rethink alot of my travels for monetary reasons. really it just means to change my travel patterns (which were pretty minimal, but i wanted to splash out on a few days skiing in bosnia) - not sure if that is going to happen now. gotta run a budget tonight and work it all out.
