podcasting has improved my life ever so much. i get 'wait wait, don't tell me' delivered to my computer every sunday for me to listen to at my leisure. it has been really good lately. an extra daily show for my ears if you will - sans jon stewart, but good (if not better)

my new job was purchased by a chain pub/bar company based in edinburgh. this isn't *BAD* per se, but i have yet to see all (or any) reasons it is particularly *GOOD*. i've given myself a time limit to test the waters before i start looking for a new job. of course on the day of the handover i insulted the new company to one of the bosses before knowing the details of the handover or that he worked for said company. grrrreat. no better way to start, yes?
