softball season has begun again! i've started off pretty well (no that is a semi-lie, my first game was a mixture of a home run, two triples a double and 2 errors, well one error and 2 half errors). today resulted in a series of singles and a lame popfly. our team is improving week by week. it is actually really nice to see everyone get better and better. last year was pretty tough, so much so that we were regulated to the lower league. i think we're the type of team that is too good for the low league and not good enough for the upper leagues. could use another american who understands the game. shannon, i wish you were here. you'd kick ass. it would be great. you'd LOVE our uniforms. although they're not orange, they are hot as we've been sponsored by 'larry's bar' and their logo is fucking brilliant, very dive barish - thing is i've never actually been. gotta visit, hope thelogo lives up to the image in my head. still haven't found a *real* dive, sure there are dingy bars, but no real dives. maybe it is a strictly american (u.s.ian) creation? hmmm.
