last night my work turned into a gay bar. kind of. it just so happened that out of 8 tables, there were only two women in the whole place. and they were sitting together. none of the staff really noticed until these two drunk german/dutch/danish(?) tourists (guys) pointed it out. i jokingly said yeah, it looks like tonight we *are* a gay bar. the astirics in my statement must have gotten lost in translation, cuz the bloke quickly said 'this is my nephew, my nephew' (i'm guessing that he thought that WE thought that they were together or something) and then bolted without paying for his pint. jerk. i can't decide how much to analyze this bout of homophobia. i thought it was pretty funny until i realized he didn't pay. then it started to piss me off. i wonder if my loyality to my people is worth the price of a pint. or maybe it just took a while for it all to simmer.

Morrissey featuring Flower Battering Stick
Dick Dangerous and the Love Bastards amazing amazing amazing.
Diploid nothing quite like instrumental skapunk. I knew the night would go well when the opening band had an audience of more than a few bored souls.
