photo of the day:

5 points to the first person who can tell eveyone who is shaking hands in this pic. Just write it in the message board thing on the side of my blog. Interesting eh?
Anyways, after writing yesterday's blog i took BART to San Fransisco. Good god i forgot how much i LOVE that city. So much better than NYC. Cleaner, friendlier and all around better. Sorry shaya, but SF is my kind of town. Everything was great, except i didn't have a map so i had some trouble finding fun places to be. one of the best parts of the evening was seeing one bum yell at another bum. normally not that exciting but it was something like this:
Angry Bum: garble garble fuck off, garble garble foot in your ass...
Grammar Bum: oh thats no suprise, mono-syllabic as always, get outta here
haha - mono-syllabic. hilarious.
so i walked around for about 45 minutes looking for a coffeeshop or bar or something to no avail. i know i wasn't exactly in the are for that sort of shit, so it was pretty tough. I couldn't find a coffee shop that was not STARBUCKS or OPEN. Fuck. No problem, urban hiking is great fun either way. Finally i found a bar and chilled there for a while. 1 wheat beer (i'm not about to try to spell what wheat beers are really called) and 1 uber kamakazi, less than 10 bucks - sweet deal. this kamakazi was HUGE too. talked with the bartender about the city for a while and then headed back to the urban hiking. oddly my jaw was clenching like mad. sometimes that happens when i get drunk, i don't like it, but at the same time i kind of do. weird stuff. watched some hippies get angry at some bouncers at a club and saw the police deal with *something*. finally made it back to BART and headed back to fremont.
took helga to breakfast at denny's this morning and then i was on my way. made it to sand harbor with no problem and succesfully suprised my sister. it was great. i was swimming in the lake when she showed up. she posed with her friends for a photo and i snuck up from behind from the lake. suprised her perfectly. chilled at the lake for a few hours. good god it is beautiful up there. i really miss that lake and the mountains. it was SO BLUE today. so so so blue. and it was windy so we had great waves too.
so on the way home i dropped our friend kendra off at her house and headed back to my place. my sister wanted to look at the mirror on the passenger side. for those of you who don't know this is no easy task in my car. the rear view has to be moved to get out of the way of the passenger mirror. so i go to move it and it does...off of the fucking window. DAMN IT! I made it the whole way home with no problem until like 1/2 a mile from my place.
peace
