alright folks, i'm getting ready to re-enter the working world. my excessively long vacation has taken it's toll on my pocketbook and i gotta get some cash flow working in the opposite direction. aside from the poundage situation, life here is going pretty well. the flat i'm living in is pretty sweet. i'm about a 1-2 miles from the edinburgh castle and i've pretty much got the basic layout of the place understood. the flat is extra good as there is a bus that runs 24 hours from my flat to downtown. the bus system here is pretty crazy. there are like 2 major bus companies that cover the city, plus another 3-4 that cover specialized major routes, plus a bus company that does a few routes to the airport. there is this one stop that has 7 different companies utilizing the stop, not to mention that the major 2 have like 3-4 different lines at this stop...it is pretty intense. So far i've only used the major company run by the city, i'm a bit scared to get on the other one just yet...
