should i be scared to tell people that the simpsons gave my life more direction than years of advice from everywhere else? lisa simpson, you learned the same lesson i needed to learn at the ripe age of 8.
just finished douglas coupland's 'life after god'. wow. i'm gonna finish his whole collection soon. i wonder if i'll eventually turn into a bitter jpod-er for his amazing ability to get the feel of the time - almost as though my experiences are not unique or special or individual. fuck you coupland, i am a fucking beautiful little snowflake. the style of this novel was especially useful as it was super digestible with its tiny pages, tiny microchapters and tiny hand drawn pics. through the whole book i kept wondering where it was going, but nevertheless enjoying the whole well written ride. then you get to the end and the whole thing is even more worthwhile. what a great finish.
read it!
i'm loving this tan nguyen scandal. so when i did my spat of urban hiking down from the block to my apartment i took harbor which passed LOADS of electioneering signs for this race.
1. loretta sanchez - tagline: 'fighting for us
2. tan nguyen - tagline 'fighting for ALL of us'
as though mrs. sanchez has some sort of chicano/latino bias that mr. nguyen clearly is ignoring. hilarity.
can you tell i'm at a computer based job these days? 4 blogs in 4 days.
