in continuation of being the unemployed scumbag that i am, i took a trip to the (low)higlands with my cousin anthony a few days ago. it rained. a lot. for the whole time i set foot on the isle of mull, it rained. camping was set aside for the wiser decision of a dry and warm b&b. there is something to be said about spending a bit more cash for a real roof over your head. i got to drive my cousin's jaguar around the whole island's array of single track roads. so fun. the scenery was beautiful, but probably would be better, ya know, if you could step outside the car and see more than 10m ahead of you. good times.

just got a copy of the magazine i wrote an article for. my first glossy 'real'(ish) magazine. very exciting. but again, i hate editors. i used (and was quite proud of my use of) the word 'utile' - not the most common word, but it was the perfect word to use. it was changed. it was changed to Futile. there was no reason to do this. now this paragraph makes NO sense. aaargh.

nevertheless, exciting stuff.
